I spoke with my web host and they told me, that they have disconnected the file /xmlrpc.php due to hacker attacks. This file is apparently flooding the system with 100.000 try outs a day, trying to log into accounts.
My web host have connected it again – just my site. But I wanted to ask if there is any other possible way to connect to jetpack other than this file?
I haven’t managed to get connected to jetpack again, yet – because now it says it is down for maintainence. But I hope it will work later on:)

Is a security plugin e.g. Akismet plugin? I use Akismet, but I am not sure how to configure it to allow connection to /xmlrpc.php.

I am getting an error message, that my site have to be public before connecting. My site has been up and running since January, so I am not quite sure what to do. I am not able to connect to jetpack and wordpress.com again.
I was trying to get my twitter account publicized correct in the first place, but all things seem to disconnect. Can any body help, pls?

Add Custom Header Images requires a page titled The Headers with images and WordPress v3.4 or greater.

I have finally had a break through with my web hosting, and they will erase the cname and have it pointed to their server instead. Why it took so long to get – I don’t know. But it seems like I’ve run the Web marathon today.
My domaine name is hosted at this site https://www.webhosting.dk and my url is http://historieland.dk

All I know if this.
1. I bought a domaine name and a web hotel at Webtonet Webhosting (Denmark)
2. I made a blog in Blogger / google and change my DNS setting in order to have the domaine name point to this server. It worked!3. I wanted a WP instead, and downloaded https://ww.wp.xz.cn
4. I imported the stuff from Blogger and installed WP at my web hotel.5. It worked for some time, and sometimes it doesn’t. My web hotel says that google is reporting an error 404.
6. I go crazy figuring out what to do with it….
I seems like I should switch to wordpress.com – or can I do that?

I am confused:) My web host tells me, that this information should come from wordpress? not my postmaster.
For what I have understood I have to find the “place” in WP, where I map my domaine name (not registered through wordpress.com) to the WP server. They will afterwards change it in my DNS records.
I am trying to find out where I map my domaine name to the WP server?
