Hi Tobias;
Found the problem and noticed that other records also has issues with large spaces between paragraphs and others.
Apparently what worked in the past using simple html like <hr> horizontal rules and other code no longer works. I removed all the added html formatting and it is back to normal. you must have made some adjustments in your updates.

In reply to: [ColorWay] Getting PHP Errors in FooterI think I figured out the issue. Apparently and not sure how, I didn’t have the Karma theme installed but only noticed I had the Karma Child theme. Can’t imagine how that happened or how the site worked without the original theme.
Might have deleted it in error…Seems to be working OK now.
Crazy….

In reply to: [Participants Database] Trouble with First and Last Name fieldsNow my entries won’t even open. I just upgraded with the last update just now.
What happened to break this plugin? I am nervous now about clicking on any entry. I may just ask my webhost provider to restore my database from a backup.
This is crazy…

In reply to: [ColorWay] 3.4.4 Broke Home PageFound your info on restoring home page and now it is working again. Is this something that has to be done each time you update this theme? Seems like a real pain if that is the case.
See corrected site now.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Table WidthYes, I see that the text determined the width of the column’s. I have it set correctly now, but the extra css didn’t really do anything, I tried a number of different settings with no change. I will remove that extra code now since it look OK now.
Thanks again…

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Table WidthI have just gone into the table and on the first row I simply reduced the length of the text by hitting the return so the width is now where I need it to be. Apparently the text was effecting the width of the column, possibly because I copied the text from a website and pasted it in.
Had to be some formatting issue I would guess. Now I can play with the code again and see if that works.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Can't seem to add rowsNot the theme and all the plug-ins are the same as on my other site where it works. Will try to deactivate plugins one at a time and see if I can figure it out.
Just deactivated all plugins except Table Press and it still won’t create a table. Is it possible the plugin is the issue. Can I delete it and add it back in fresh or will I lose my current tables.

In reply to: http error – image uploadThe tech support guys that first started to look into this problem for me didn’t know squat even though I told them the it was a mod security issue on one of my other sites. Finally got a good support member who took another look and sure enough that was the issue on this site. He changed it and it works fine again.
Again this was the first tech supports solution on my other site that worked on my new site. Hope this helps others with the same issue.
While checking I am able to find some conflicting mod_sec rule for the domain internationalpress.org. I have disabled the rule for the domain now. Please monitor the site and update us if you feel any performance issue.

In reply to: http error – image uploadWell, working on a new WP site and have the same issue again. The mod_sec rule fix for the other domain doesn’t work on this one. I have the latest version of WP 3.8.1 and my host has PHP 5 installed.
I have tried to disable NextGen Gallery and other plug-ins with no luck either. I am not sure if this is an issue that comes and goes as it has in the past, so I am working with our tech support at my hosting company to see if they can figure out the cause. It was all of a sudden. I was uploading images fine and then bam..I got the error message. I am sure it is not the image file, they are all the same and tried others with no luck.
My questions is why is this an ongoing problem now for over 4 years on so many versions of WP? Can there be a permanent solution or do we have to deal with this each time there is an upgrade?

In reply to: HTTP ERROR on image upload 3.6.1All of a sudden I got the error as well. I knew that my NextGen Gallery the older version before they really messed it up with the version 2,0 was the problem.
I deactivated the plug-in and the images now upload fine. I am not sure if it is a random situation because it was working, but if you have NextGen Gallery installed, deactivate the plug-in and give it a try.
When I am done, I will reactivate it again so my images on the site will show. I will see if this is a rare situation or something that is now broken…

In reply to: [WP-DownloadManager] How do i remove Warning MessageSorry, was a bit confused…thanks for the info will remove the message now.
Never mind…opened in a different browser and the old version is working again. Must have kept the error in the cache. I am back to V1.9.3 forever it would seem.
Forgot to mention the theme I am using is a premium theme called Karma from Themeforest
I am bad…when I reinstalled the plug-in files I didn’t realize it was not activated. It is back and working again. Be sure if you do this to the earlier version you clear the cache and activate the plug-in again.
I take that back, just checked my Gallery pages and only the short code appears…so something is broken. Will restore from old back up and see if it works now.
