Problem solved , I had to add the Super Admin as a user to every site I wanted to broadcast from so that he would show up as having blog access under the maintenance tab of the broadcast plugin.

I found that when I rebooted my server after updating it and all my plugins that it miraculously started working again. Sometimes there isn’t enough memory perhaps on the server when your page has been running for a while. A server reboot is always a good idea. I don’t know if you’re running your page on your own server or on someone else’s . Just give t a try.. I am running linux ubuntu .
