Situation changed partially: moving plugins folders one-by-one, I fund that some plugins caused “500 internal server error”, so now the homepage and dashboard works.
But opening any post give a 404 error and in dashboard I can’t view the table of previous posts.
I asked for the server error log to “Free Hostia”, but no response is arrived.
    Please, what can I do?

    Hi to alls,

In reply to: 500 Internal Error

    Hi to alls,
    Me too in same problem:
few days ago update to 2.7.1, all works fine, I write new post and so on.

Today, a bad message opening the site:

    ———————-
    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Apache/1.3.33 Server at storiaduepuntozero.freehostia.com Port 80

Freehostia.com help told me that WordPress is the cause. So with Google I find some solutions: changing all permission for files and folders to 755 (tried: the problem remain the same); changing all permission for files to 644 and for folders to 755 (tried: the problem remains the same); cancel .htaccess (tried: the problem remains the same); renaming “plugin” folder (tried: the page is totally blank).

Please can you help me? The site is http://storiaduepuntozero.freehostia.com

    Thanks in advance…

Hi Mikey1, thanks for help but in general settings the title is already with a dot instead that comma, and appears in the right way in the dashboard (wp-admin) homepage, BUT as you have seen, in the tab and bluebar window is “Storia 2,0”.
Ok, is not a thriller, but sure is a mistery to my eyes why this happens… :-0

In the “general options” panel, at first row there is “title blog” text space. Here, the title of my blog is right. BUT, in the tab of firefox and in the window upper bar, the title appear wit a comma instead of a dot.
There is some other place or where I can find the option for correcting this strange behaviour of WordPress blog title?

    Thanks once more

Hi blueshift9, as you can see my english is very bad, so can you tell me were in the instructions I should read for finding the answer? If I will know the right word that define the “web browser window bluebar”, I can search better in the instructions.

    thanks again
