No, sorry – I didn’t mean to leave the issue open. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, I did switch plugins – the problem persists, but since I’m also running other ads (they rotate) that don’t have an issue, it would likely take a while to force the site to show a “half ad”. It seems to be an issue in the way adsense deals with the theme or vice versa. Adsense ads display fine on the main (home) page, but only show half the ad on single posts and pages themselves. Doesn’t seem to matter what size ad it is.

When I googled the issue, I found something about the “hook Parameter” in wordpress themes, which almost makes sense to me, LOL – I know where my weaknesses lie. I’m not comfortable enough yet playing around with the guts of the theme – I made a horrible mess of it once already, and it took me forever to fix, and I didn’t manage to fix it completely, so I’m hesitant to play around with it too much.

I don’t know if this is an issue you want to consider dealing with in future updates or not, but it is not posing enough of a problem for me to expect you to “fix it for me”, as I can’t be 100% certain that the problem is with the theme – I just can’t figure out what else it could be.

If I do figure out a fix eventually, and it does turn out to be a theme issue, I’ll let you know, though.

Thanks for looking into it for me.

I found another way to do what I had originally wanted – adding a child theme to make new templates really messed things up. I love this theme, but find I’m limited in some things I’d like to do.

The good news is, it’s forcing me to learn more about wordpress themes and coding in general, so I guess that’s good.

Well, duh! Thank you! I didn’t realize it needed to be there, since I didn’t see it in the original page template. I added it and the drop down menu is now there.

    Thanks for the help!
