It crashes if the plugin update is actioned before the theme update.
There should be a warning folks…
The active plugin creates a 404 when trying to make updates on my website. One.com have advised this is because one of the parameters in the linked page have been exceeded since the most recent update to the wordfence plugin. A ticket has been raised by One.com and I expect that they will be in touch with Wordfence
