Hello there, your link is a bit weird, takes me to a website with no SSL, made probably 20 years ago and it doesn’t even look like a wordpress site either.
Anyway, I set up a clean test environment and it doesn’t work even there, Here’s the link: https://www.andpatella.it/eventi-test/?s=lorem&post_type=event
If you take out the “&post_type=event” string it shows the event, with it nothing appears.

Let me tell you, it’s not that clear in my opinion.

I’ve updated MEC to version 5.7.0 but no luck, this thing is driving me nuts. I hope it’s not something I missed or I’ll feel very stupid. I’ve updated MEC, but it didn’t solve the issue. If I check “Show Only Expired Events” it works, if I check “Include Expired Events” it shows only future events. I created a staging environment, if you give me an email address I can provide access to it.

thanks for your prompt reply. Firstly, I’m using a custom theme I made myself, but everything happens even with the standard seventeen WP theme. I didn’t create any custom function for the “more link”. The more link is inserted in the post using the <!– more –> tag inside a SiteOrigin Editor widget, but, when rendered in the DOM, the link is placed outside the widget, while I expected it to be inside. Maybe it should be like that, but it seems weird to me.
To change the text I used the standard the_content(‘new text’) in the index.php page and it works if I don’t use PB but the classic editor, as shown in the page i linked. I’ll use the workaround you suggested, setting the bottom margin to 0.

thanks a lot for your reply. I’m pretty sure I’m using the correct widget. Just for checking, I put both now, in the page I linked. Both brings me to the same SRP. I must point out that I’m not using Storefront theme but a custom theme I developed.
With Storefont theme it works fine (even though I don’t see the products under the input field as I’m writing, like your video shows).
Any clue?Thanks a lot!
