In reply to: Sort posts in descending orderHi there guys!
I would like to do the same: sort posts older to newer instead of default (newer to older).
Where should i include the code alchymyth proposed?

In reply to: Permalinks set to post name not workingOk, i kept on playing around (saving and refreshing permalinks settings in both site and network admins) and now it’s ok. Main blog posts don’t show anymore the /blog/ bit, so urls look like this: http://blogname.com/postname/
It seems you shouldn’t care at all about the permalinks setting in site admin but only in network admin?
I set site’s to default permalink structure first. Then saved network’s permalink structure to /%postname%/ and didn’t touch the site’s anymore. Even if in site’s admin it still looks like blogname.com/blog/postname, the front end shows blogname.com/postname/
These links were useful (especially the last post in the first, number 29):

In reply to: Permalinks set to post name not workingOk, i’ll try to be simpler:
All default settings in permalinks (except default) start this way:
I want them all to start like this:
How can i achieve this? I tried including /%postname%/ in Network Admin > all sites > blogname > permalink structure, and played around saving changes here and there but i still get 404.

In reply to: Permalinks set to post name not workingHi James!
No. Only the default structure works.
Is it maybe related to domain mapping? I haven’t mapped nor even added any domain yet. I just have a multi site in the domain where i’m creating the blog.
Do i need to map or save that main and only blog so far as primary, or do i need to solve it somewhere else? How?

Indeed it was just that i was managing several blogs and sending several requests simultaneously — but since it was the first time it happened, i was triying to find someone guilty )).
You are right, there was no problem at all with the plugin, thanks again!

In reply to: Menu doesn't dropdown in FirefoxI guess not even if i couldn’t find it. The thing is their theme is deprecated.
But as i said, i wouldn’t like to switch.
Any more help please?

In reply to: Menu doesn't dropdown in FirefoxThanks, i first posted there but they couldn’t provide an answer other than changing theme.
That’s why i’m looking for some help here:
Does anybody know how i may manage to show the dropdown main menu in firefox? Where to start trying at least?
Beautiful, thank you so much, that did help!
However, some new problems appeared (or i hadnt noticed them before). It is indeed a wp e-commerce plugin problem.
So i posted in the plugin’s forum here.
Thanks konradS!
You may find the blog’s url visible in pastebin here.
I just checked: Problem is visible in Safari, Firefox and Chrome (mobile).
Links are showin right again (i moved nothing) but products still show over sidebar.
Thanks for your help and patience.
Hi there again!
No, front page was set to display a static page.
I just changed it to set latest posts instead and it does so well (but i’d like to show the static page because it has shortcode to display the products: it’s the “products page”).
Anyway, whether front page displays a static page or latest posts, sidebar is in any case overlapped.
And, which is worse, as i said, links are being broken no matter i switch to twenty eleven theme.
I just went into theme settings > general. Posts listing style on home page was indeed set as blog.
I saved but there was no change. Swithced to magazine and saved, no change either. Switched back to blog and still no change.
I updated to 1.16 a couple of days earlier but that didnt solve it.
I also just downgraded to version 1.14 and problems persist:
– Sidebar is missing on home page (version 1.16) or being overlapped (version 1.14).
– Some links are showing as broken though they aren’t.
– Some pages’ containers show no content though there is indeed.Hi there, my case isn’t solved yet and can’t manage to solve it on my own.
Sidebar still disappears on home page. And broken link checker plugin is detecting lots of new broken links — even if i of course never touched them since.
Such links are really being broken.
For example i had a link on front page (products page) sending to catalog. When you now click on it it shows a white container.
You may find a link to my blog here in pastebin.
Please help!

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Products page is overlapping right sidebarYou are right, that’s what i should do: Test a theme change. I’ll post again whenever i have some news. Thanks a lot again for your help and proposal.
That’s the point. There should be one. The same one that can be seen in all other pages.
Products page, which is set to be the home page.
