Ah, I thought that might be the problem. I think it’s definitely the case that my old theme is no longer compatible with the new version of WordPress.
To get around the problem I’ve started to create a new version of the page using the new block editor. It won’t look the same….but maybe it was time for a change anyway. At least I’ll be able to edit it 🤷♀️
