I have spent two days working on trying to fix my imagines 🙁

I checked all my folders are the correct number – folders should have 755 and files (images) 644.

I have spoken with my hosting company, who also looked at my file numbers. They say that the plug-in SSL is the issues.

All pictures are mine – I have been taking pictures since I started my blog over 6 years ago and I upload them to the library.

Those PicMonkey-Collage photos you have seen are for my header – I edited it over at PicMonkey and uploaded them to my blog….All of my pictures that I have uploaded for my 967 blog posts are no longer able to be seen.

The only thing that I did in the week of my photos going missing was to upload a different theme, upload iThemes Security Plug-in and Simple SSL plug-in.

I have since changed my theme to a basic theme, removed all of my plug-ins and reload them one at a time – without reloading iThemes Security or Simple SSL Plug-in to see if that would fix the issue.

Everything I have followed with fixing “Missing Photos on a ww.wp.xz.cn Blog” information/tips/hints/youtube videos….nothing has fixed it.

Never ever have I had this issue before and I am worried my blog is gone forever 🙁

So I have followed the Fix 403 Error and I am up to the steps of going through the video instructions.
I am in public_html – and I have changed the wp-content permissions as per instructions – I am in FileZilla.
Its been going for over an hour of scanning and processing and changing directories – and its still going….is that normal to take that long?

Yes the wp-content/uploads directory /files do exist.
