Just to say that after the panic of not being able to view or login to my website today, this thread and a very VERY short web chat with the service department at my hosting provider (host gator) resolved it immediately.
If you can’t log in to your wp account or if plug ins are just beyond your realm of understanding (like me!), just get online with your host and send them the link to this thread.
