I have the same issue. And theme change is not helping.
Also I don’t have the possibility to choose any lightbox effects anymore…they are all literally just blanks under the dropdown menu in gallery’s other options > Lightbox Effects. Have no idea where to start looking for the problem. Almost like all the effects had vanished from the plugin all of a sudden. I have NextGen v.2.0.66 and WP 3.9.1.
Any ideas where to start digging? Thanks!!

So the problem occurs in page/post editing (haven’t actually tried in widgets yet).

Thanks for the advice but yes, I have tried that but no effect.
at the moment the gallery thumbnail is set to 150px x (empty), but the thumbnails are what thay are…all over the place 🙂
And I have created new thumbnails after setting the new measurements for the thumbs.
Any other suggestions? Anyone?
