It seemed to be (only on the front-end).
I was still able to hit the WP admin side of things seemingly with no issues (i.e. I didn’t encounter any but didn’t try every single thing).
The email that I received was my regular Uptime Monitoring Alert via Google Compute Engine.
When trying to hit my site, it just said that a critical error had been encountered with a generic link to troubleshooting wordpress.
Right before I’d received my uptime failure alert, I’d updated the Constant Contact Forms Plug-in to the new version 2.9.0. As a troubleshooting step, I deactivated it, refreshed my page, and the site went back to working minus the Constant Contact Form showing up where it usually does. Just the tag is appearing in its place.
I reactivated the plugin and got the same critical error result. I deactivated it again and the site went back to working (still minus the form, of course). I tried restarting the server after the reactivation just in case that would help. Unfortunately, it didn’t.
I confirmed that my php version and wordpress version are listed as supported for this version of the plugin.
