I actually do install plugins via FTP on a regular basis and I do understand conflicts occur. Obviously, I managed a workaround with Enable Media Replace by disabling your plugin, but it did take me 30 minutes of time to identify your plugin as the culprit. I simply thought you might want to be aware of the issue.

June, I would argue the contrary on ManageWP’s pricing. I felt they did an excellent job announcing the new pricing structure in blogs and emails. Plus they allowed existing customers to move to the new structure OR keep their existing plans. Truly this change has been for the good in my humble opinion.
