Thanks for the feedback. I linked the font to recaptcha at first. However, the contact form might really be the problem. I don´t use Contact Form 7 but weForms. Of course I could switch to another contact form plugin. But if Local Google Fonts finds a way around this and locally hosts the fonts from this form, as well, that would be just perfect.

I just encountered a similar problem. Just for me, the plugin does not load roboto at all. One font was recognized and loaded correctly, roboto as second font not at all.
Would love some advice from support, as well.
