I thought I had the same issue. It seems to give the error, when using Chrome, but still saves the info.
I don’t have the problem at all in Safari.
I found the problem, the plugin wpEstore was conflicting with all saving. I also could not save new menus… Thank you for the plugin, it’s the only one that that exclusions! 🙂
I had not checked, and no, I cannot save other items. For example if I change theme and hit save it says “saved” but the theme does not change. Also, even the preview only shows my last selection (sun)
