thank you for your message. According to the mentioned article, I need to have a multisite installation and both your plugins to have the flags (or just the language selectors) show up on top of the page next to the navigation menu (where you would expect a functionality like that). I think I set up everything correctly… The flags are in a widget on the bottom of the page for now for testing only.
Btw, I saw something else I think is connected to your plugin(s): On mobile devices the menu bar changes to a very ugly dropdown menu instead of the common “burger” icon (even if there’s enough room for the full menu to be shown)…
