I guess a workaround would be to include the question number in the question text itself and disable the automatic numbering function.
The other idea I had was to use < li > </ li > in the %question_answer% text, but it looks like something automatically adds < OL ></ OL > to the text when I try to do this.

When I change the option to have BOTH points and incorrect/correct, the problem is resolved. Seems to be a probem with using just points.
