Thanks for the response. The permissions on that folder are already on 775, but unfortunately the issue persists.
Can anyone advise why my plugins work fine for a few minutes then suddenly stop working and return the error:
“The plugin [plugin name] has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist”
Solving that would be a huge help, I can get around the other issues, I just wanted to include as much info as possible!

Oh I have done! I’ve been back and forth with my host numerous times. He says he hasn’t changed any settings since we had a working WordPress site. When I ask what the error logs say for the failed install, he says it is because of the missing files, which I personally uploaded and checked.
He is as lost as I am, but the files definitely seem to be removing themselves from the server during the install?
Any clue on the plugins/image uploads not working?
