We did a couple of things:
1- we deactivated Smush Pro. That resolved the issue.
2- With Smush Pro off, we activated WP Rocket. The problem happened again until we turned off Lazy Load and then the descriptions came back.What we see with Lazy Loading on

I am having a similar issue. Plugin was working fine then stopped working on desktop. I’ve turned all caching off, have cleared it, and am not getting any results.Could you assist?

Funny… the 301 redirect works in Safari but not in Chrome.

Thank you for your advice on this. We have gotten rid of the error and the search is working better. However, neither Revalnssi or the standard WP search is searching the inventory in the storefront. This is critical.
Any advice?
