I have the same question for pages. The visual editor leaves much to be desired.
Correction, the original choices (pre 3.5) were Visual and HTML. Now I have Visual (which is not activated) and Text. There is no html option at all.
My page editing only allows me to do text. Visual is not available at all. I do not write html so cannot do ANYTHING on my site! Help!
