I’d like to set a full path to the folder instead of a rooted one

The project is working on localhost for now.
Your shortcode is [folderslider folder=”local_path_to_folder”]
I’d like to use something like this :
[folderslider folder=”http://…..com”]
Is it possible ? Or is it an other way to do it ?
