for me migrate helper either does nothing or says there is an error (I’ve had to fix numerous sites that were automatically updated). thankfully downgrading works. i surely hope wordpress realizes this is a colossal blunder.

lol, found my own post on google trying to solve
Actually I had just backed up my entire site, not very big, so I loaded the backup. I guess I didn’t technically downgrade. I would think that the forms would probably be retained if you just deleted the new version and reinstalled the old one, but don’t take my word on that.
