  • I’ve got 5.3.1 and the same issues:

Warning: fopen(/15165753316_ab650e4f75_s.jpg) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/(path)/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/flickr-rss/flickrrss.php on line 187

Caching is turned off, and I’m reluctant to downgrade the plugin – I just upgraded to WP 4, so I’m turning your plugin off for now. If you come up with a fix, or need someone to test, please let me know.

I’m sorry Alex, but just because you can’t reproduce the problem doesn’t mean it’s resolved – I’ve been trying to get this working for over 9 months, with little response on these forums that led anywhere useful.

I’ve offered logs and am willing to document and try things, but no response. I’m about to resort to some very drastic measures (backup and export, then re-install everything from scratch) in order to get this to work…..

This is something that’s been a problem for me for about 9 months – still no reply that works.

I noticed that if I created a new user on my blog that tweets were auto-imported, so I’m considering one of two ideas:
    a) create a new user just for importing my tweets
    b) backup, export, re-install it all and then import and see if that works. it’s a lot of work, so I think I’ll try a) first…

Ok, I’m all up to date on Social and Twitter Tools, but it’s just not working.

Alex, I’m happy to provide logs/data/my first born to try to help get this working – let me know.

    Alex-
I appreciate the product, but it’s still not working. Have you been able to figure out what the issue is? I’m happy to give you logs/details/whatever to help you figure it out.

Did you ever get anywhere with this? I’m trying to do the same thing – take an RSS feed and import it’s entries as new posts on my site.
