In reply to: [Postie] Emails from iPhone not being postedOkay… I figured out it’s some kind of conflict with the ‘image rotation fixer’ plugin. When that is active iPhone emails don’t post, when it’s de-active they all post fine… still trying to figure out an image rotation fix for iPhone portrait pics….

This plugin should fix it for you.
On the top right hand side of the gallery edit page, click on the ‘screen options’ tab, make sure the ‘featured image’ box is checked
Here’s a screen shot of where it is to help you
It’s the same thing, on the bottom right hand column of the gallery page you created there is a box called ‘featured image’, part of the wordpress page, not the part where you add the images to the gallery.
If you don’t see it then you are not editing the gallery, or you selected ‘quick edit’ and not edit under the gallery name on the listing.
Edit the gallery, click ‘set featured image’ on the lower right had side, click the ‘media library’ tab, and then just select the image you want to use, click ‘update’ and you’ll see the image you selected as the tumbnail for your gallery.
