As asked, i tried disabling the css-related features, and the page displayed normally. When i enabled all the options as mentioned earlier, the problem recurs. I am using a child theme. Pls let me know what setting is causing this problem.Madhivanan.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Css optimization problemThe css for the figure caption is defined in the wp core in wp includes in block library. this css has been changed by the theme css. i have uploaded the screenshot here.
normally, the css in style.css overrides the css in the wp core. but here, the minified css in litespeed cache order is changed so that the css in wp-includes overrides the theme css in style.css. How to correct this problem?
