    @webteam7 I think we have different problems. Mine relates to a variable being hard coded as null in the get_field_input function. allow_url_fopen has no bearing on this.

    @wfadam thanks for the reply

    So are you saying out of the box in default configuration that WordFence won’t allow visitors to submit Gravity Forms that rely on a async request to admin-ajax?

    It’s just confusing to troubleshoot because some visitors have success and some are getting hung up with the 403 error and unable to complete transactions.

    And even more frustrating, I can’t recreate it – we just get complaints and then find the 403 in the server logs.

    Just to clarify too – WordFence may return a 403 error but not record the IP in the list of blocks?

    Thanks for all your work on this!

    The sites we had this issue on are hosted by Nexcess and they ended up forking Cache Enabler I believe.

    We’ll see if they’ve added this change to their version and test.

    Thanks @lukefiretoss – but yesterday morning they were not, and offered nothing but canned responses and blamed it on me misconfiguring things.

    Also as of right now, I have received no pro-active notification from Nexcess to warn of this issue, nor is it listed in the announcements section of the control panel. Just sayin’ – you guys have tools at your disposal to save customers headaches but they’re not being used.

    I can’t fault Nexcess for getting blindsided by another developer’s release, but I can be pretty annoyed that this knowledge is not being shared with the users of the platform.

    @lukefiretoss maybe the folks at Nexcess might want to alert their customer base that upgrading CDN Enabler will break their sites? As of yesterday support wasn’t even aware of this issue.
