Today I got time to look into this.

I tried re-installing the plugin with a full delete and install, but unfortunately the error persists.

A few version-info on my environment:
WordPress 3.4.2
PHP Version 5.4.42
Linux cluster from Servage.net – it’s an Apache version 2, but maybe changed to some extend.
