One of the error messages I keep getting reads “SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting” but going to that site just makes everything even more confusing. I just want email functionality on my website, why does it have to be this huge, ugly, convoluted mess???

In reply to: Can’t set up emailThanks for your response! 🙂 I do already have a contact form. The problem is nothing gets sent or received, probably because I don’t know how to do the email settings to begin with. 🙁 My web host is Freehostia.com.
