yea changing the start date to the 15th would work great.

Basically i run a gaming community and each month we have to pay for our servers. Our bill is on the 15th of each month. Since our payment goes mid month that leaves 15 days that people think we are still full on money.
The added functionality would be that when a payment gets sent out the meter would see the deduction and reduce the total amount shown. So for example if someone donates 100 dollars and our servers get paid for leaving us with 20, it will show we have 20 not 100. Basically updating as the vlaues come and go in the account.
