We figured it out.
Both the top menu and the main menu were showing in the dropdown menu. After deleting the top menu it resolved the issue.

We found out that on an iPad the menu shows correct. It actually shows the regular ‘desktop’ menu, instead of the dropdown menu.
So far on all mobile phones it doesn’t show the menu as it should. There is something wrong with the dropdown menu.
