I want to execute PHP in a custom field, too, but I haven’t found a solution yet.
I just want to include a PHP file. Right now I have Exec-PHP installed and I can run PHP within my posts and pages, but not in the custom fields.
Does anyone know how to do this?

I read somewhere about having a Linux server for hosting could be related, but the person didn’t really explain how to fix it.
I’m having this same issue too and I don’t really understand your solution. How do you remove “Index.php”?
