I contacted the amazon associates supports specifically regarding cloaking and redirecting their affiliate links and this is what they’ve sent me back.

The link which the customer clicks must lead to the exact site where it says it will lead. You must clearly state that the link in question will take the user to the Amazon site when clicked. Associates links shouldn’t be cloaked.

The plugin is absolutely great, but you have to include an option to disable cloaked links.
