In reply to: Parsing Facebook and or Twitter # and or @ in PostsSorry for the late reply…..I never got an alert that you responded to it. I don’t use IFTTT because we need to use a plugin so that it posts to 3 different Facebook Biz Pages…long story.
I just cannot believe that someone hasn’t developed a plugin to handle the @ing. Yes, I completely understand the possibility of the names being different between FB and Twitter…in our case, the names are the same between the social platforms.
Extremely frustrating.
thanks

In reply to: [Easy Google Maps] Pizza Delivery Mapping for CustomersSorry for my late reply….working a ton of hours at the shop.
Okay….I will run this through as best as possible
One of the issues on a busy night is when a new customer calls and asks if we deliver to their street…and we really do not know. I would like to be able to redirect them to our website and to have then enter their address, or just their street name, to see if it’s in our delivery area.
So, my way to best explain how to accomplish this would be to:
1. Use Google Maps and setup a delivery border….not a radius but where you can draw the lines until the two points connect around our delivery area.
2. Now you would need a data entry piece on our website where this potential customer can enter for instance 123 Main street 15229; they would hit SEARCH; somehow through the map it would search within our delivery area to see IF their address range is in this stores delivery area.Does this explain it any better? thanks in advance

In reply to: Migrate New Site to Replace Old WP SiteMike…..my apologies for not thanking you for the response. I have had no free time to move on my new site and today being at hockey with the kid I finally am looking at all of these things.
thanks again
I agree with the review. Look, I came from the tech industry and respect the fact that you should be paid for your work, but YES, this should be on Code Canyon, or the like, since this does only offer “basic” functionality, and ALL OF THE NORMAL NEEDS are Pro Only.
Come on, phone number is Pro only??? Really. JetPack offers all of your basic stuff for free.
Sorry guys….I’d be willing to “pay” for “unique” add-ons….but basic field items are just expected as free.

In reply to: Fatal Error in index.phpAny Thoughts…..anyone? According to that error the index.php file in the wp-admin folder is missing the get_header() function.
I have no idea on how to fix this. It’s not a theme issue, but a wordpress core issue

In reply to: Fatal Error in index.phpORIGINAL POSTING HAD THE INCORRECT INDEX.PHP. I have not pasted the correct one below.

In reply to: [My Restaurant Menu] Setup QuestionsNot exactly what I was asking so I will re-ask the question…plus one more.
1. I have separate menus…and 3 locations and need the following
Store One Menu
Store two menu
Store 3 menu
NOTE: ALL 3 STORES HAVE DIFFERENT MENUS2. You have it able to be 2 columns…there’s a programming issue. If I do not want two columns and only use the 1 column,,,it will not stretch the 1 column setup across the page. You need to be able to choose to use 2 columns OR a single column that fits the width of the page…it looks really bad when you have a orphan/empty 2nd column not being used.
Please reply ASAP
