    It is ok for you if you constantly press the refresh button to see if a message is in your recontre-mailbox?

    some user write back in a min and some neede 5 or 10 min.
    I’m not an idiot and would never press refresh constantly and wait until I get a message again.

    I do not know a dating portal where I do not immediately and “automatically” see that a message has arrived .. (most of them even use an additional signaltone)

    – Sorry but this is absolutly a no-go.

    Thanky you for the fast reply.

    Ok, the plugin is useless for me then.
    If I used a dating site, I would not want to press refresh all the time.
    Furthermore, this would stress the server for many members when hundreds or thousands of people constantly press refresh.

    Later ir noticed that the gender is not displayed in the user profiles. There are many usernames like “Rene” or “Mandy” as girls and men name …

    Nevertheless, thanks for the quick replys, but this plugin may be on the right way, but not yet mature for a dating site, and important features and information are still missing.

    I do not speak about registration emails.-That works perfect.

    I’m talking about the notifications in the Recontre.
    (Message from user to user)

    The Member does not get any notification in the inbox when a user receives a message from another user.
    Only if a member updates the page a “1” is displayed, but users can not constantly press on update (refresh)??

    What server specifications do we need to support the messaging feature?

    We can freely configure on our server.
    Which settings are necessary?
