Thanks for the reply. The server is already ‘gone’. Was an Azure set up and after moving it to another, the issues were immediately resolved. I control neither of them so cannot say much about the set up. esp. now the one with issues is no longer up.

I did not get a notification on the moving of my topic and it felt like “fixing wordpress” was the wrong sub-forum (I assume I do something wrong and that it is not a bug in WP). So I thought I must have mis-clicked.
