Well I always assume first that I have done something wrong.
The basic point is that I was making changes, and then it would no longer connect, and I would edit done to just the key, yet it still would not connect. So I assume there must be something in the background hanging around, probably nothing to do with your plugin.

I changed those links above around, but I wanted to leave here what I did because someone might find it useful. I’m not totally satisfied with what it looks like but I can’t spend more time on this after hours thing so I’m leaving it as-is, and it will have to do. It’s WAY better than just a spreadsheet so thank you for this super useful plugin!!

I couldn’t seem to figure out how to set the column sizes to force only the first 2 columns showed on the page (and people can see the survey answers by clicking on the name), so I decided to move forward with a hamfisted workaround, which was to put placeholder columns in and query to get an order of columns that I want. I could not change the spreadsheet itself too much because it is a collection sheet for a form that has already been sent out.

fyi for anyone interested 0 I understand the datatables sort overrides the “order by Z” so I tried to turn the sorting off, but the sorting indicators still how and it’s not ordering by Z.
