I followed your instructions—I still have the default theme active, but I need to keep the The Events Calendar plugin enabled since it generates the custom post type Event.

I can confirm that the Post-related special mail-tags are correctly included in the notification email only when using the legacy editor and adding the form via shortcode.

However, when using the Gutenberg editor (whether adding the form via shortcode or via the block), the Post-related special mail-tags remain empty.

It’s a staging website, so just:
    – Contact Form 7
    – The Events Calendar
    – The Events Calendar Pro
    – The Events Calendar: Filter Bar
    – WP Mail SMTP
    (The theme is Twenty Twenty-Five)

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my post.

I’m not a developer, and since I don’t know how to code, this is my small way of contributing.

I had already read that it should work if the form is inside a post, but I ran some tests on a clean WordPress installation:
I discovered that if I create an event using the legacy editor and paste the form shortcode, the Post-related special mail-tags work correctly! However, they don’t work when using the Gutenberg editor.

I wonder why that happens! 😃

I hope this information is helpful. Thanks again!
