In reply to: [Archive Posts Sort Customize] Other Sorting pagesI have found that it is my theme that is not working with the plugin. My theme has sermon and gallery post types and I think that the plugin does not have php for that. I am not an experienced coder so I’m not able to find the problem.

It was set up previously by someone who knew much more about this than I do, but is no longer around to help so I am here floundering my way through and learning as I go.

In reply to: Hosting in-house and wp wampI am designing a new website for my church, the church will host the site at their location as they currently do now which is by not using a third-party hosting site like hostgator or bluehost.
I have wp installed on my home computer to practice and figure out how to do all of this, but as I move closer to implementation, I need to know if I should be doing all of this on the computer that will be serving and hosting or if I can be working on it from home and then when I am ready to go live I can just point it to the host computer/server.
Sorry I am not good at the terminology as I don’t quite have a grasp on the back end stuff, I just want to make the site aesthetically pleasing and bring it out of the dark ages
