Thx for your quick reply.
I’ve done what you’ve proposed:
I deleted all media.
Uploaded new video files.
Everything stays quick and snappy..
When I create only one thumbnail it becomes slow again.
When I delete that thumbnail all is quick again.
All is local.
I use wordpress as a submodule, imported via github:
git submodule add git://github.com/WordPress/WordPress.git beheer
(“beheer” is the foldername is dutch for “maintaince”)
And pulled out the config file, index.php and wp-content.
