Hi @jarnovos,
Great! Thank you for your time, quick answers and great support. I really appreciate it.

MarekHi @aahulsebos,
Maybe we misunderstood, because I’ve already done everything according to the @jarnovos instructions. So I’ve already turned off additional consent check (analytics_storage). Unfortunately, it had no effect.
But I’ve already figured out where the problem is. The point is that I have custom events in GTM such as measuring clicks on elements, scroll depth, etc. These are connected to triggers that do not wait for consent check. This triggers fires GA immediately after page load.
Would you know how to pause these tags / triggers to custom events until consent is granted?
I already tried this configuration without additional consent check before, but I tried it again. So now I submitted version for both GA account without additional consent.
GA Tag

https://prnt.sc/1vpjhfdI also checked again what these changes in GTM made and now I can see that Hotjar is fired immediately after page load. I didn’t change anyting there, just in GA tags. I’m very confused.
Actually I’m not sure if problem is with GTM settings.
Any ideas?
Thank you for your time.Marek

Hi @jarnovos,
well, I use “built in tag type” to run Hotjar, I use custom variable to run Universal Analytics, I also use “built in tag type” for GA4. I’m afraid I don’t see any other significant differences between those.
But, I created some additional screenshots of configuration these tags, so if you could take a look, it will be really helpful (last screens).

MarekHi @aahulsebos,
thanks for quick response and yes, the latest changes have been submitted. I did little experiments before, because I tried to figure it out on my own.
Yes, you are right – “cmplz_event_0” maybe isn’t fired on pageload, but in some way the tags are fired immediately, which are to be fired only after consent (cmplz_event_0).
My point is analytics cookies (and code) won’t get blocked on page load.
I hope we can find solution.

In reply to: [Reading Time WP] Reading Time is displayed while sharingHi,
I really apologize for the delay. My web is powered by default wordpress template Twentyfifteen. I’m already using Yoast SEO, but editing each post on web to delete first sentence with reading time is not much user friendly solution ;).
Have you any other idea, how to figure it out, please?
EDIT: First sentence with reading time is not displayed in Yoast SEO excerpt, but only when I share the post on Facebook and other social networks, even on Google Search.
