Thanks to your support I was able to solve the problem. It had to do with another plugin (Admin Menu Editor Pro).

Indeed, the label is also shown for orders with status “processing”, that is, when they have already been paid. Therefore the snippet you provided worked for me.
That may be tricky with the refunded status. I’m not sure if there would be any negative effects of adding it as a paid status.
Regarding what you mention, without going into details, what actions/events are associated with “refunded” status in Woocommerce?, since I’m going to add this status in the function and I want to be fairly prepared to identify possible issues associated with this implementation.
With your answer we could already consider this matter resolved.

I inserted the character as I put it here (ó)…
I also did tests trying to place “the accentuation” in this way “ó” and there were no problems with the generation of the PDF file, but the html code is not transformed into the desired character (ó).

Note that my wordpress is also in Spanish, I don’t know if that will help you to replicate exactly the case. Right now I’m using 3.9.1 WP version.

Even with the update to version 1.1.5 there was a problem in the “backend”. The content of “Invoice Setting” was moved to the right about 900px. But all worked out since removed the special character (ó).
If you end up finding what is wrong please let me know.
