Erichnian – I am sure this is a WordPress 5 thing, not a Cool Timeline thing. I’ve been using the Pro version for two years and I began having the same problem the minute I installed WordPress 5.
My whole history site (transcribimus.ca) depends on being able to date a post from its actual date in the past.
I’ve found a workaround – cannot correct the year using the date feature within the post – but when you click the post icon, you can correct the year using “quick edit”.
Will let you know if I find a better solution. Marga
