Hi @seanlance,
We’re happy to hear you managed to solve the issue. However, that amount of RAM usage is not normal for such a small website. We generally recommend setting the memory limit to 256M, as that’s enough for most smaller websites.
We do recommend performing the conflict check to determine if the issue persists when Yoast SEO is the only active plugin. It might be some other plugin (or a combination) that is causing this spike in resource consumption.
We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi Naveen,
You can nofollow all links on a page from the Yoast SEO meta box, in the Advanced Tab, as in this guide. Does this answer your question?
We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
Hello,
This issue has been fixed by the Gutenberg team in their latest update (in the plugin version). As the WordPress core has not yet received an update, this issue persists.
There are several workarounds until then:
a) Use another browser, i.e. Firefox (the issue only happens with the latest version of Google Chrome)
b) Add this code to the functions.php file of the theme
c) Install the Gutenberg v6.4.0 pluginWe hope to have cleared things up for you and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any further questions.
Hi @webkinder,
Unfortunately, this is not currently possible. There is a bug report open for this issue here, our development team are aware of it and looking into a solution.
Hi @shirtguy72,
Does the issue persist with the latest version, 12.0? If so, please run a conflict check to see if the issue persists when Yoast SEO is the only plugin active on your website. If this is the case, please send us the link to your homepage so we may inspect it.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Hello,
I have addressed your 2 issues below:
Wrong meta description for the homepage
I have just checked your homepage and Google and it is showing the same meta description as you have set with Yoast SEO. You can see the result here. Are you getting a different meta description? If so, please check out this article on why Google might show a different meta description than the one you have set.Pages missing from the XML Sitemap
Please send us the URLs of a few pages which you expected to be in the sitemaps but are missing, so that we can check them. We’re looking forward to your reply.
Hello @nivlac,
If the noindex meta robots tag was added with Yoast SEO, you can remove it as in this guide (except that you will set to Yes, or Default). Does this fix your issue?
We’re looking forward to your reply.

In reply to: [WP-Chatbot for Messenger] Call SDK after page loadHi @ingasupranovich ,
Thanks for the quick reply. Is it still possible to delay the load of the script somehow?
Hi Nick,
It should be a quick job for a developer. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with instructions on how to do it, as this is not related to Yoast SEO, but part of WordPress itself. You don’t need to put the
<title><?php wp_title(); ?></title>in your header.php file if you’ve addedadd_theme_support('title-tag')to your functions.php file. This page also contains an example for backward compatibility.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO - Advanced SEO with real-time guidance and built-in AI] change urlHi @smiladalavi,
Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the location of the XML Sitemaps.
Hi Sandra,
You can change the title of each product from the snippet editor, just like any other post or page.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO - Advanced SEO with real-time guidance and built-in AI] No sitemapHi @jfambrini,
Have you fixed the issue in the meantime? We have just inspected your website’s sitemap and it is loading as expected: https://i.imgur.com/TLkrpeC.png
The issue was probably caused by insufficient resources, your website seems to have over 117,000 thousands of tags.
Hi Caleb,
Unfortunately, we do not know of any other way. However, if you believe this would be useful to others as well, then you can submit a feature request.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or need any help.
Hi @concerneduser,
While you can definitely set meta descriptions using Yoast SEO for your attachment pages, we do not recommend indexing them in the first place. These are similar to regular WordPress pages, which only contain one media file (image) as content.|
We recommend redirecting these pages to the actual media files, as in this guide. This will also fix the warnings from your screenshots, as media files do not use meta description tags.
@klaro Thanks for letting us know. However, while the issues do seem similar, they had different causes. There was indeed an issue with WPML which was fixed in the latest update.
@charlieallred480 Are you using any browser extensions on Safari? If so, would temporarily turning them off fix this issue?
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
