Thank you for your response and for sharing the guide on selecting a primary category. We have a few follow-up questions to better understand best practices and system behavior:
- Primary Category Usage Across Content
Can the same primary category be safely assigned to multiple posts and products without causing any SEO, breadcrumb, or schema-related conflicts? - Category Selection Before Rank Math Breadcrumbs
Before enabling Rank Math breadcrumbs, how does WordPress (or the active theme) determine which category is shown in breadcrumbs when a post or product is assigned to multiple categories? - Best Practice for Breadcrumb Structure
From an SEO perspective, is it better to display post/product categories in breadcrumbs, or should breadcrumbs be kept minimal (e.g., Home → Post/Product)?
Additionally, does including categories in breadcrumbs provide measurable SEO or UX benefits?
We appreciate your guidance on these points so we can align our site structure with recommended best practices.
Frankly, this response is both frustrating and disappointing.
We’ve been using Rank Math with Avada for well over a year, and up until just last month, everything worked perfectly—including the bulk SEO score recalculations, even with Avada backend builder elements. If this behavior was “never supported,” how did it work so seamlessly before? Something clearly changed, and brushing it off as “not supported” is not only dismissive, but inaccurate given real-world usage and results we’ve seen.
We rely on accurate SEO scores across hundreds of posts and products. Manually opening and updating each one is not a scalable or acceptable solution. If bulk recalculation no longer syncs with Avada content, it breaks a fundamental workflow that was previously functional.
What happens if the score and analysis don’t match the actual content inside?
It means we’re potentially leaving SEO-critical issues unresolved, making optimization decisions based on outdated or incorrect scores—which can negatively affect rankings, traffic, and our bottom line.We need clarity:
- Why exactly did it work properly last year but fails now?
- Was anything changed in Rank Math recently that dropped unofficial Avada compatibility?
- Is there a workaround or filter/hook we can use to force recalculation on Avada content without opening every post manually?
We expect better transparency and support, especially for such a core feature.
Awaiting a serious resolution or technical direction—not a generic brush-off.
Thank you for your response.
We have already tried using the Recalculate SEO Score feature as mentioned in your documentation, but unfortunately, it did not resolve the issue.
To clarify further:
- We are using the Avada theme, and we build our content using Avada elements within the post editor, not the live frontend builder.
- The problem seems to occur when using these Avada elements in the backend post editor. The correct score only appears after manually updating each post individually.
- The bulk update option does not work—it does not recalculate or sync the SEO scores correctly.
- Our WordPress, Avada theme, and Rank Math plugin are all updated to the latest versions.
- This issue started about a month ago—prior to that, everything worked as expected, and the scores synced correctly even in bulk.
We would appreciate it if you could investigate further or suggest an alternate method to properly recalculate scores for posts using Avada elements without needing to manually open and update each post.
Looking forward to your support.

and we are using avada theme with avada page builder or it’s elements
