In reply to: [Twenty Fourteen] Trouble changing the width of the content areaYes, I was trying to widen the content area on the blog post page. @jarretc’s solution did exactly what I needed – filled up the whitespace more and did not affect the sidebars.

In reply to: WP Admin and Home page work, but 404 error for all pages/linksMust’ve been in “panic mode” because I hadn’t re-enabled the plugins at the time that I posted this, but when I did re-enable the plugins and then installed the Broken Link Checker plugin everything worked!
Same here. I use the plugin on 5 sites and all of them are indicating an update from 1.4.1 to 1.4.2 is available after attempting to update the plugin.

You can exclude files using wildcard patterns which may allow you to exclude a directory. An example is wp-content/cache/*
Is that “may” as in you’re not sure, or using that example will prevent backing all files and folders in the directory “wp-content/cache/”?
Just want to be clear on what you’re saying.

I don’t know how to do that at all. I don’t expect you to give me a training course on adding a custom extension, but could you point me to where I can find out how to do that?

I have tried clearing my browser (FF) cache/history also.
In the TinyMCE Advanced settings I had
Enable editor menuchecked. I tried unchecking that and reloading the editor for a page and the editor menu did disappear, but my toolbar settings still aren’t loading.
