    Michael,

    Pages are also posts. I do have a Page named Stories and a Page named News. It that what is causing the problem? I cannot add a custom post type using a name that is a name of a Page?

    I was able to create several test post types successfully with the plugin and they appear on the dashboard sidebar and are editable. Some I changed settings for and some not. They had goofy names like test2 and test3. When I added others with more traditional names – specifically stories and news, they don’t show up yet can’t be added because they say the are already added. For news, I did not change the menu position as I had for stories. Yet they both weren’t added properly. Is it possible some earlier plug-in or theme used these custom post type names for something and there is a conflict? It looks like an amazing plug-in, if I can figure out how to make it work consistently for any post type name that shouldn’t already exist. Is there a way to clear all custom post types – except for the heirarchy I have under Projects (which is part of the Divi theme)? Thnx!

    I am having the same problem since going to WP 3.4.2. Open Construction is activated. However, even when I am not logged in or from another IP address, it still only shows my Hello World WP home page.

    Any ideas?
