In reply to: 4.0.1 Word Press Made Text White in Visual EditorGot it! For me, the plug-in WP Admin Custom Page by Dario Bassanesi was causing a conflict with v. 4.0.1.
My advice, disable your plug-ins and you will likely find your problem.

Just adding a bit of help for others who stumble on this post like I did…

In reply to: 4.0.1 Word Press Made Text White in Visual EditorI have a similar problem on one of my websites, however, if I mouse over the visual editor area in the backend, there seems to be no text to highlight, as if it is not there, but you can see the text in the text editor.
It is the same in any of the WordPress Themes (i.e. 2014). I have reinstalled the version 4.0.1 without any difference.
Any help is appreciated. We were just fine prior to the update.
