Thank you Jahid. I tried the URL provided mysiteurl/wp/newadmin/admin2025 = Page not Found

I added /wp-login.php = Page not Found

I believe nothing has actually changed since my first question here.

So that we can cover all bases here I need to ask if the fact that the WordPress application is not in the root directory has any influence on the login function – the WordPress application is located in the directory mysiteurl/wp/

The only other conceivable element that may be influencing the process is that the website uses Weglot language translation service but I cannot imagine how that would be influencing the login to WordPress
