In reply to: upload in media library errorHi Patrick,
Sorry to hear that. Due to SSL migration, there may be some confliction of theme or plugin with your website which can be only checked by deactivating all plugins and switching to the default theme. You may be able to see the images. If you have done above things but upload is not working. You can try resetting the permission of Upload folder through FTP. There is a great article which you can refer on how to do these things.

In reply to: Cannot access website from inside or outside my home LANHi dalesawanas,
As your domain is correctly pointed to your Hosting service provider IP, You can simply update your Site address and WordPress Address URL as http://www.kimosabeit.com. WordPress will take care of rest.
You can do this by going
Setting > General SettingsI am not sure why you are using the private IP as the site address and WordPress address. Kindly explain.

In reply to: upload in media library errorHi Patrick,
I hope you have successfully updated your WordPress websites to work with new SSL certificate. I would suggest doing a few things.
1. Try to update permalink settings and see if the upload is working.
2. Some time due to network congestion and browser cache, the upload may fail. Try to close your browser, clear cache and reconnect to the internet.
3. Will it be possible to send a screenshot by following this article

In reply to: WordPress Admin Consume much CPUHello netizenconsultant,
Your website has got pretty decent traffic which means it will always be busy serving a lot of content. According to me, you are getting 30% of CPU utilization as you are using cache plugin and static contents are served from Cache but when you log in as an Admin, WordPress has to work on generating new content each time. Can you please confirm if you are using Object Cache. As you are using a VPS server. You should use Object Caching software like Redis. It works on the server level and caches your database request.
I also recommend you to use CDN like Cloudflare which will reduce the burden of serving static files from your server.
You should also check if you are not using any resource hungry plugin.
Hope this information helps you.- This reply was modified 7 years, 6 months ago by Shashi Kumar.

In reply to: font size reduced in dashboard and front pageHi reddyamith8,
To me, it seems a plugin or theme compatibility or Cache issue. Could you please elaborate more on how and what css code you are using which is changing fonts of dashboard and front page as well. You can try these methods.
1. You can try disabling all plugin and recently active plugins and see if it makes any difference.
2. You can try clearing cache from all layers and check.
3. You can try reupdating WordPress and check.
4. You can also switch to default theme and see if the issue is resolvedNote: Kindly take a whole backup for worse cases.

Bravo! I am glad that you successfully completed the migration.Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Installing WordPress on WAMP localhostHi branko3184,
I guess your database was not migrated correctly. That’s why you are not seeing activated themes or plugins. If you are facing issues with the Dropbox backup, you can change the method of work. I would suggest you give All in One WP migration a shot. You need not worry about already imported files. The plugin will take care of all your files and folders.
Good Luck- This reply was modified 7 years, 6 months ago by Shashi Kumar.

In reply to: Installing WordPress on WAMP localhostHi branko3184,
I am glad that things are working for you. As you are migrating to a localhost, there may be some problem with the automated migration. I would suggest you to try another plugin special for migration All in one WP migration. It has a good video to guide you for migration. I will try to simplify it.
1. Install this plugin in your live site
2. Go to export and download the exported file
3. Login to your localhost website and install the same plugin there
4. Import the backed up the file and your file should be migrated.
Note:- if you do not change something while exporting your admin user of the test site will be same as your live site.In case you face some issues with the above method, you will have to migrate files manually.
1. Zip and download following folders Themes, Plugins, and Downloads
2. Unzip and replace it with your localhost folders
3. Log in to phpmyadmin of your live hosting. Export the database as SQL.
4. Login to phpmyadmin of your test website and import the SQL file linked to the WordPress database.
5. Change the site url directly in the database. ex.http://localhost/tag or anything
It should get migrated.
Reference:- To migrate website manually
To change the sitename in database. Search for Changing the URL directly in the database.Let me know if you face any problem.
